Mission
HandsOn mobilizes volunteers to create positive change in our community.
Our Vision
We envision a region of engaged volunteers nourishing our communities.
Our Values
Do Good. Everyone has the right and responsibility to volunteer.
Be Together. We can acheive more when we volunteer together!
Smile. Research agrees volunteers are happier, healthier and more engaged in their community than those who do not volunteer.
About Us
We are a bunch of superheroes. Jealous? No need to be because our super power is turning people like you into superheroes! We've been commissioned to help everyone in Benton, Linn, Marion, Polk and Yamhill Counties find their super power and help them use it to do good. How do we do that? Well, we're a volunteer action center, so we provide resources to connect volunteers with volunteer opportunities where their super powers are needed. We have over 400 partners that post their needs on our database for our community of 4000+ superhero volunteers to search through. We also provide training to our partners so your super powers are well used and we help for-profit organizations engage their employees to help out the communities they do business in. HandsOn is a program of Community Action Agency and an affiliate of the HandsOn Network. This is our extended family, helping us maintain our superpowers so we can help you find yours.
